Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30, 1991, is better known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, singer, and songwriter. His stage name is that of his beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint record deal with Epic Records and T.I. The singer also signed a recording agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length project, Owl Pharaoh. Then, he then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. The debut album of his studio, Rodeo (2015), was a hit due to the single "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott has released his second album with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). This album was his third studio album Astroworld. He also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Scott's track "Franchise" which featured Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, was released. in the year 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs hit the top spot within less than a year.
