On the album, she came out with several hits such as Saving the Day, All My Love for You How Will You Know That You Give Good Love and The Greatest Love of All. This helped her achieve seven US Number Ones in a row. She beat even the Beatles. The album's first US year of release, the album has sold in excess of 3 million units. Then it went on to be purchased by 25 million people worldwide, earning her her first Grammy. The Whitney 1987 album, featuring the songs Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as popular songs, was a way to build on her success. The 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot as one of the most successful musicians of all-time. While the movie itself and the performance of her in it weren't widely appreciated, the album's soundtrack and her rendition to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made the charts of albums and singles for months and sold 44 million copies all over the world.
